Do luxury villas in Seseh come with a butler and a private chef?
A private chef, yes, on request; a full-time butler, rarely — that is not how villas on this coast are staffed. The normal model is daily housekeeping, pool and garden care and a villa manager reachable on WhatsApp, with a chef, driver, therapist or babysitter booked in as you need them. Chefs are usually arranged a day ahead and charged as a service fee plus the cost of ingredients, which is why in-villa dinners often come in below the restaurant equivalent. If you want someone present from morning to night, say so before booking, because it has to be staffed deliberately.
Can I hold a wedding, a party or a retreat at a villa in Seseh?
Sometimes — but never assume it, and always confirm with the villa's operator in advance. Most villas here are residential properties inside a working village, so extra guests, outside vendors, amplified music and late finishes are subject to house rules and, in some cases, local permissions and a village contribution. Small celebrations such as a birthday dinner or a private-chef evening are usually straightforward; a full wedding or a retreat with day guests is a separate conversation, often with its own fee. Get the answer in writing before you book flights or send invitations.
Are the luxury villas in Seseh right on the beach?
Almost none sit literally on the sand, and that is a planning rule rather than an oversight. Temple setbacks and the protected coastal strip keep building back from the shoreline here, so the best villas sit a few hundred metres inland with ocean, rice-field or sunset views and a short walk or drive to the water. When a listing says beachfront, check the map — the honest ones state the distance in metres or minutes. What the setback buys you is the thing true beachfront rarely delivers on this coast: quiet, and a sunset nothing blocks.
