Uluwatu crowns the southern tip of Bali — the limestone Bukit Peninsula, 45–60 minutes from the airport. This is the Bali of postcards: white-sand coves tucked under cliffs, some of the world's most famous waves, the clifftop Uluwatu sea temple and golden-hour bars hanging over the ocean. It feels wilder and more vertical than the island's flat west coast — beaches here are earned down stairways, and the reward is worth every step.

Jalan Labuan Sait — the road that links Padang Padang, Thomas Beach and the Uluwatu temple cliffs — has quietly become the Bukit's main street: warungs serving smashed-avo breakfasts next to generations-old nasi campur counters, specialty coffee, poke bowls, wood-fired pizza and sunset bars hanging over the surf breaks. Prices run friendlier than Canggu, portions run surfer-sized, and everything sits minutes from our villas.
