Most Bukit beaches make you choose between spectacle and swimmability. Melasti doesn't: a road carved theatrically through white limestone delivers you — and your car — to turquoise water calm enough to actually swim in.
Why Melasti is different
The road is the landmark: switchbacks cut through sheer white cliff, driveable to the sand — no stairs, no hike, which makes Melasti the Bukit's easiest beach for families, grandparents and anyone with a cooler bag. The water inside the reef sits protected and pool-clear at most tides; it's the peninsula's most reliable swimming, full stop.
Beach clubs and bare sand
Melasti hosts a handful of clifftop and beachfront clubs — infinity pools, day beds, DJs at sunset — alongside long stretches of unclaimed white sand where a sarong costs nothing. Do either, or both: club lunch, free-range afternoon. Weekends draw domestic crowds; weekday mornings are near-private.
The name means something

Melasti in a Bukit itinerary
